Use

  • Providing products and services. We use your personal data to provide the Services in accordance with our contract with you, including processing your payments, fulfilling your orders, sending notifications about your account, purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, creating, maintaining, and otherwise managing your account, arranging shipping, facilitating returns and exchanges, and other account-related features and functionalities. We may also enhance your shopping experience by allowing Shopify to match your account with other Shopify services you might want to use. In that case, Shopify processes your data as outlined in its Privacy Policy and Consumer Privacy Policy.

  • Marketing and advertising. We may use your personal data for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending you marketing, advertising, and promotional communications via email, SMS, or mail, and to show you ads for products or services. This may involve using your personal data to better tailor the Services and ads on our Site and other websites. If you are an EEA resident, the legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest in marketing our products under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

  • Security and fraud prevention. We use your personal data to detect, investigate, or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account login credentials secure. • Communication and service improvement. We use your personal data to provide you with customer support and to improve our Services. This is in our legitimate interest to communicate with you, deliver effective services, and maintain our business relationship under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Cookies

Like many websites, we use Cookies on our Site. Specific information about the Cookies we use in connection with supporting our store with Shopify can be found at https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies. We use Cookies to support and enhance our Site and Services (including to remember your actions and preferences), to conduct analytics, and to better understand how users interact with the Services (in our legitimate interest to manage, improve, and optimize the Services). We may also allow third parties and service providers to use cookies on our Site to better tailor services, products, and advertising on our Site and other websites.

Most browsers automatically accept Cookies by default, but you can configure your browser settings to delete or reject Cookies. Please note that deleting or blocking Cookies may negatively impact your user experience and may cause some Services, including certain features and general functionality, to not work properly or become unavailable. Additionally, blocking Cookies may not fully prevent how we share information with third parties, such as our advertising partners.

Children’s data

The Services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal data, you may contact us using the contact information below to request its deletion.

As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal data of individuals under 16 years old (as these terms are defined under applicable law).

Security and retention

Please note that no security measure is perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” Additionally, any data you send to us may not be secure in transit. We recommend that you do not use insecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

How long we retain your personal data depends on various factors, such as whether we need the data to maintain your account, to provide the Services, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, or to meet other contractual or policy requirements.

Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data. However, these rights are not absolute and may only apply under certain circumstances, and in some cases we may deny your request to the extent permitted by law.

  • Right to access/know: You may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, including details of how we use and share your data.

  • Right to delete: You may have the right to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to correct: You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to portability: Under certain circumstances and with some exceptions, you may have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and request that we transfer it to a third party.

  • Right to opt out of sales, sharing, or targeted advertising: You may have the right to request that we do not “sell” or “share” your personal data, or to opt out of processing your personal data for purposes considered “targeted advertising,” as defined under applicable privacy laws. Please note that if you visit our Site while the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal is enabled, we will, depending on your location, treat this as a request to opt out of “selling” or “sharing” information for the device and browser you use to visit the Site.

  • Restriction of processing: You may have the right to request that we stop or restrict processing of your personal data.

  • Withdrawal of consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your personal data, you may have the right to withdraw that consent.

  • Appeal: You may have the right to appeal our decision if we decline to process your request. You can do this by responding directly to our denial.

  • Manage communication preferences: We may send you promotional emails, and you can opt out of receiving them at any time by using the unsubscribe option included in the emails we send you. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your account or orders you have placed.

You can exercise any of these rights where indicated on our Site or by contacting us via the contact information below.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to collect information about you to verify your identity, such as your email or account information, before we can substantively respond to your request. In accordance with applicable law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before we accept such a request from an agent, we will require proof of authorization to act on your behalf, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how we process your personal data, you can contact us using the contact information below. If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you may, depending on where you live, have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us via the information below, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For the EEA, you can find a list of the relevant supervisory data protection authorities here.
